1. Which grade levels can participate in the spelling bee?The spelling bee is for students in Kindergarten to 8th grade. There will be a maximum of 20 participants for each competing group. Students are broken up into two competing groups: Kindergarten to 4th grade (20 participants) and 5th to 8th grade (20 participants).

2. Is there a registration fee?There is a $20 registration fee to participate in the spelling bee.

3. Are there prizes for all participants?Yes, all participants will get an engraved medal, book, prize bag and certificate. The top three winners for each group will earn the additional prize funds: 1st place: $100 2nd place: $50 3rd place: $25

4. What resources will participants receive to prepare?All participants will receive their word list with directions. Also, we will host study sessions during the month of April for additional practice.
